Coach Eubanks and Coach Ellington are looking forward to another fun filled and excellent school year at LCES. We hope all of you are looking forward to a rewarding and fun experience because that is exactly what we want you to get out of PE. We have planned a variety of activities and fun fitness events for all of our students here at LCES.
In an effort to have a safe and productive year, we have a school wide discipline plan that will be enforced. The plan is as follows:
- Participation
- Appropriate Dress (tennis shoes)
Students will have grading on the pass or fail scale.
We ask that your child bring a note signed by their parent/guardian or doctor if he/she cannot participate due to illness or injury.
For this year to be as successful as years in the past, we will encourage our students to follow the PE rules.
- 1. Enter and exit the gym in a quiet straight line.
- 2. Sit quietly and wait for instruction.
- 3. No horseplaying or running around without permission.
- 4. Do not touch equipment without permission.
- 5. Get permission before leaving the gym for any reason.
- 6. Stay with your class at all times.
- 7. Get It Together!
Appropriate Dress- Students must wear tennis shoes, wear a belt for those pants that don’t fit just right, and girls must wear shorts under skirts. Students must not wear jewlery during their week in PE. Watches are permitted. Please have your child dress appropriately for PE. Students will not be able to participate if they are not dressed according to these guidelines. Remember this is for your child’s safety!
